The Nulife Volunteer Family
There are three categories of NuLife volunteers.
NuLife Ambassadors share our vision for a more inclusive society and are passionate about this commitment. They are the human face of our services and help optimise the delivery of our programmes to our beneficiary families.

NuLife Champions represent a body of professionals (counsellors, social workers, psychologists, lawyers and accountants) selected for their skill set competencies. In providing pro-bono assistance to our beneficiaries, they supplement our client outreach initiatives and strengthen the holistic and therapeutic support offered by NuLife.

NuLife Honeykidz brings together an enthusiastic bunch of 7 to 15-year-olds to explore the importance of sharing and giving and learn what it means to be a volunteer.

Volunteer Pledge
I pledge to honour and respect NuLife’s guiding principles as a NuLife volunteer: to assist NuLife in its mission to offer genuine and affordable assistance, render professional befriending and value each individual in a compassionate and non-judgemental manner; to keep self-disclosure to the minimum and not use my function as a NuLife volunteer to further any personal or business interests.
NuLife Code of Conduct
- Be considerate, respectful and sensitive
- Present a non-threatening, friendly and courteous presence
- Abide by NuLife’s policies and procedures as communicated by the volunteer coordinator.
- Respect the boundaries of your contact as defined by your volunteer coordinator
- Be punctual and regular
- Dress professionally
- Declare any relationships or personal/business ventures, associations or contacts that could potentially pose a conflict of interest prior to starting your role as a volunteer and/or as soon as a potential conflict of interest is apparent
- Inform your volunteer coordinator of any change in your personal or professional situation
- Inform your volunteer coordinator of any problems, fears or challenges you face in the discharge of your role
NuLife Volunteers are strongly urged NOT to:
- Offer or accept money or gifts while discharging your duties as a volunteer
- Make or solicit business deals (in a personal or professional capacity)
- Develop a personal or business relationship with beneficiaries
- Solicit or divulge personal information
- Drink or present yourself when intoxicated
- Use indecent language or be indecent or violent in your behavior
- Attempt to offer assistance or support (monetary or physical) without the approval of the volunteer coordinator
